Heads Up is a non-profit organization that aims to encourage students to use technology productively and live a more digitally balanced lifestyle.

Lead the initiative, start a heads up club at your school!

  • Current middle school, high school, or college student in the United States or Canada who is passionate about supporting youth in navigating digital addiction, promoting healthy technology habits, and fostering balanced relationships with social media and digital platforms.

  • Click the Learn More button below to visit our Initiatives page. From there, select the Club Champion button to complete the application. Our team will review your submission and follow up within 3–5 business days if accepted.

  • As a Heads Up Club Champion, students earn verified volunteer hours while serving in an official leadership role within a nationally recognized nonprofit. Club Champions receive access to funding opportunities, curated digital wellness resources, and guidance from the Heads Up leadership team through regular check-in calls and mentorship. They also join a national alumni network and earn certifications in digital wellness. This role provides meaningful experience that strengthens resumes, college applications, and professional development while making a real impact in their school and community.
